See for example:

http://joongangdaily.joins.com/article/view.asp?aid=2922019

Joongang carries an opinion piece with the title:

[Viewpoint] Switching sides in a "war zone"

http://joongangdaily.joins.com/article/view.asp?aid=2921996

which says:

"But the Cheonan disaster is not an issue with which we should be playing a game of 'true or false.' It is frustrating and is heartening that the civil group fails to see this basic notion."

Which means, "my country right or wrong, my country".

The attack on PSPD is under the guise that if an NGO criticizes it's government's position by letters to the UN Security Council that is treason.

Other civil society organizations have come to the defense of PSPD while netizens and scientists are finding scientic evidence that the Lee Myung-bak government's report may contain scientific fraud.

A scientif critique of some of the evidence is circulating widely in S Korea:

http://arxiv4.library.cornell.edu/abs/1006.0680

South Korea by its persecution of PSPD is showing that it is becoming more like its dictatorial past. If this is not reversed, Seoul is proving it is an improper venue for a world conference like the G20 summit planned for Nov 2010.jrhjrhjrhnoreply@blogger.com
