An Asahi article questioning the necessity for the "relocation site" ２０１０年２月２０日朝日記事「代替施設の必要性は根底から揺らぐ」

Asahi Shimbun, one of the major national newspapers in Japan ran an article that asks a fundamental question about the necessity for the "relocation site" which most assume in the discussion of removing Futenma Air Station. See Ginowan Mayor's argument for details. 以前から宜野湾の伊波市長等が主張している「米軍は普天間の中型ヘリ部隊も含めて海兵隊の一体的なグアム移転の計画を進めているので代替施設の必要性はないはずだ」という論を朝日新聞は０９年１２月１８日取りあげているが、今回より詳しい分析をしている。
