松井茂記教授　プロフィール
ＵＢＣ法学部教授。京都大学大学院法学研究科修士、スタンフォード大学法学博士。大阪大学法学部教授を務めた後、２００６年より現職。専門は憲法学、比較憲法学、マスメディア法、情報公開法、インターネット法、法律と医学。著書は『日本国憲法を考える』（大阪大学出版会　２００３年）『マス・メディアの表現の自由』（日本評論社　２００５年）等多数。

Greeting from Arc Han

　　Hello, everyone, this is Arc, a new member of Peace Philosophy center. Thanks for Satoko, I'm so happy I could be standing here and greeting you.

　　First, let me introduce myself. I'm a international student from China, studying Asian Regional study in Vancouver now. Now I'm in the second year. I'm the only one son of a common family in Yibin City, SiChuan porvince of China--yea, I miss my parents a lot. But anyway, Vancouver is a very good place to study because I meet people from different countries with different background. It helps me open my eyes and minds.

　　Then, why I involved in peace keeping activities. Ah, there are many reasons. First, I want to thank my parents great emphasis on love, gentleness, honesty, and peace. They shaped me in this way. Secondly, since I'm interested in history studies, I feel the North East Asians have suffered so much during the 20th centry, and they are continuely suffering now--Korea penisular is seperated, China is still divided, enmity still exists among countries. Most of the problems are remains from Cold war or even WWII. Seeing people in other refion are enjoying a regional harmony and happy life, I feel I need to do some thing.
Well, I think there are too many things to say about why I want to do this, but I hope I would not take too much of you time. In short words:
　I love my parent, I love my country, I love Canada, Japan, Korea... and other countries and their culture, I love people, I love this plannet we are living, I hope I can do something for them.

大家好，我叫韩真，是一名来自中国四川的留学生，目前正在加拿大温哥华念大学，专攻方向是亚洲研究。我对历史，整治，国际关系，文化研究等方面非常有兴趣，其实，这也是我当初放弃计算机工程学位转攻文科的原因之一。我的理想是能在大学里面任教或者作研究，同时我也希望将来我能为东北亚的和平做出贡献。今后我将在聪子建立的和平哲学中心工作，非常感谢聪子能给我提供这样的一个机会，也谢谢大家，我会努力的~

日韓共同ドキュメンタリー「あんにょん・サヨナラ」
◆「あんにょん・サヨナラ」 とは、靖国をテーマにした日韓共同ドキュメンタリーです。　 タイトルには 「日韓の辛い過去にサヨナラ、和解と未来よ、こんにちは」 という意味がこめられています。
「あんにょん・サヨナラ」 は、多くのインタビューから　 靖国神社の本質を浮かび上がらせただけではなく、平和のために活動している人びとに勇気を与える作品です。　 釜山国際映画祭　ドキュメンタリー部門最優秀賞受賞作品　 山形国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭　アジア千波万波　特別招待作品
◆ストーリー　 李熙子 （イ・ヒジャ） の父はアジア太平洋戦争中に日本軍に徴用され、中国で戦死した。　 日本政府から、父について何の通知もなく、彼女が父の死の詳細を知るのは90年代に入ってからのこと。その上、父は遺族の知らないうちに靖国神社に合祀されていた。　 父の命日に、父が死んだ場所へと旅するイ・ヒジャを追い、在韓遺族にとっての合祀の意味を訊ねる。墓石にアボジの名前を彫れるその日まで──。　 イ・ヒジャの願いを共に叶えようとする日本の友人の姿は、イ・ヒジャの旅に新たな意味をもたらした。

VSA9 General Meeting 2007- Activities for Children

The 2007 Annual General Meeting of the Vancouver Save Article 9, or VSA9 was held on February 17th in Burnaby, BC.


There a picture book called 'Yurushi no Hana', or in English, 'Flower of Forgiveness' was introduced by Sayuri Ishimoto, as shown in the photo. It is a book related to the Miracle of Fushun workshop facilitated by Tatsuo Kage last November - how 1,000 Japanese POWs at the Fushun war criminal camp were transformed from 'devils' to 'humans,' by the humane treatment that they received at the camp. They came to repent their war crimes and became peace activists upon returning to Japan. One of the POWs was given some seeds of morning glory by a prison guard, who told him to go back to Japan to have a happy family life, and never to return to China with weapons. The former soldier and his wife grew these flowers, and they are still blooming today, 50 years after he came back from Fushun.


This book was published by this group that was established to maintain the 'Miracle of Fushun,' or 'Uketsugu Kai.' The book is in Japanese and Chinese, and they are working on the English and Korean translation right now. Also at this meeting, Dunc Shields, a professional storyteller and I presented a story called 'My Enemy'(right photo by Tatsuo Kage). It is a story about this big blue shark and this tiny little octopus. The tiny octopus was told by his mother that the shark was the enemy. Neither the shark nor the octopus knew what enemy was, so they decided to become enemies together and had the most enjoyable play time together. Dunc told the story in English and I in Japanese, and we also sang Pete Seeger's Where Have All the Flower's Gone? with a little variation.

”日本の教育現場の実情を教えてくださった中野真美さんに、感謝いたします。問題が多いことは知っていても、ここまで来ていたのかとショックを受けました。 特に、卒業式での日の丸・君が代強制はもとより、「在校生の方を向くために、日の丸に背を向けるとはけしからん。」との校長の発言と強行には、第二次大戦中の”不敬罪”（天皇の写真に向かって敬礼しない、あるいは敬礼の仕方が足りないというのが罪だった。）を彷彿させる恐ろしいものを感じました。

また、校長による不透明な現場の教師の査定があり、都合の悪い先生を排除していくシステムができあがっているという話も、憤りを通り越して暗澹たる気持ちになります。”　　原　京子

”地球温暖化については漠然と知ってはいても、あれだけのデータと実際の映像によって示されることによって、地球がどれだけ危機的な状態にあるのかをはっきりと認識することができました。”　原京子

”Ａｌ　Ｇｏｒｅの真摯な態度はよく伝わってきたし、また講演会の続行、世界への映画配給などその行動力には感嘆する。しかし、彼のいうことも鵜呑みにしてはいけないのだと思う。ここに住んでいると、日本にいるときより、より自分で判断することが求められる。そのたびに思うのは、判断するにはまず知らなくては、知るためには受け売りの知識ではなく、じぶんの頭を使って事象を咀嚼しなければ、ということ。それには勉強の継続しかないのだと思うが、その遠い道のりに歩き始めからため息の連続である。”　ＹＭ

”我家は車が１台、夫とのシェアです。ほとんど夫が通勤に使っているので不自由を感じ、もう１台あったら楽なのにと思っていたところです。ついつい楽な方、便利な方へ行ってしまいます。そして慣れ・・怖いです。実際、車２台を維持する余裕もないので実現不可能だとは思っていましたが、これからは地球にも家計にも健康にも？マイナスにならないよう、出来ればプラスになるような方法をとりたいと思いました。”　　ＳＬ
